Service Charges
This is the key question, isn't it? How much will all this wonderful estate planning cost? In short, it will probably cost you less than you think it will. And it will definitely cost you less than the value that it gives you and your family.
You will notice that the prices indicated below are listed as "From £x". The reason for this is that the service you receive is always tailored to you, it is always a fixed price, and the price is always provided to you before you agree to proceed. Nobody likes surprises! We do not charge by the hour, giving you the peace of mind that there will NOT be a nasty added bill at the end! But just as you don't like surprises, neither do we. Suppose we have two people - Bill and Ben. Both want a "Single Will". Bill owns a house and has £10,000 in a bank account. His only family is one nephew that he wants to leave everything to. Ben is a multi-millionaire with 7 children and 28 grandchildren, and wants to distribute his estate in a complicated way. Both want a Single Will, but Ben's will is significantly more complicated!
In addition to the work involved, regional variations in costs can affect prices too. A clear example of this would be that in Scotland there are distinct differences in the law and the the costs of the government fees. Another example is that the underlying costs to being in business in the North East of England are significantly less than they are in Central London.
Your consultant will be able to provide you with a definite quote once they have met you and understand what you need and want.
That said, the prices below should give you some indication of expected costs.
